The Muse I Adorn

Have been looking at those for years. I've got several guitars that might just love one.
If only they weren't quite so pricey. Someday, when I have a little more cash available for mods...
My problem is, every time I get a little saved up, a cool guitar falls into my lap.

Yah, if a good bridge & tailpiece were required, saving on those would bring a Stetsbar more within reach.
Even compared with upgrading to a premium quality bridge like Faber or Callaham, it begins to look more affordable.
Thanks for sharing that perspective.

I was goofing around with setting up my V tonight, and I went and checked my records…HOLY SMOKES!!! The Stetsbar has gone up in price by approximately $120 since I bought my last one! That’s insane! I guess that puts my past reasoning into context…I paid about $220 each…shipped… Todays prices are pretty steep in comparison.

Yikes! When I first looked at them they were under $200.

I should have taken some pictures last night, but didn't. We jammed, and played the homemade Flying V through my '89 JTM45 reissue. Damn fine sounding combination. Tom had his Acoustic 370 railed, so I had to keep up. I love playing at that kind of volume. The neck pickup is really creamy, and the bridge pickup has just the right bite to it. The volume and tone knobs are very responsive at that volume. I still can't believe this is the first guitar I ever built.
