It seems the order of the switching is reversed?

DO you think of the Strat Switching as position 1 is with the switch as far as it will go pointing downward toward the floor and subsequently operating the Bridge Tone control of the bridge pickup? Then 2, 3, 4, 5 works it's way upward toward the Neck Pup?

If so, I totally have things reversed n my order of things. My position one is always Neck, then both pups, then mid, then mid/ bridge, then bridge as number 5 position,

Fender calls bridge position 1, switch all the way down towards the stage...
 
HAHA Robert, I am really gonna jack up my electronics brain on Strat wiring.

2 other scenarios.
My 1989 and 90 Strats have TBX pots in the circuit.

Then there are 2 other Fender layouts/way of tweaking sounds on some Strats. S1 switching and Delta tone wiring.
