So, I guess I'll post a few pics of why I am in Orlando, in the first place.
Every year the largest tradeshow in the AV industry is held in either Orlando, Florida or Las Vegas, Nevada. The name of the show is, "InfoComm."
This is the first year I've been to Orlando. I don't get to every show, but I've been to the Vegas shows about three times.
So, here are a few pics, in no particular order. These don't begin to scratch the surface. There were hundreds, perhaps over a thousand, vendors here this year.
The Shure and QSC exhibits were the first I visited. My Shure rep had some new wireless conference mics and delegate systems to show me.
The ProCo (yes...the ProCo of Rat pedal fame), Audix, and Denon exhibits can be seen here. The Denon exhibit is barely visible.
The vehicle with the hood up was in a Ford Motor Company exhibit. They were showing off work vehicles.
This is another shot of audio stuff. The Yamaha, Lectrosonics (barely visible), Anchor Speakers, and Peavey exhibits are visible in this shot:
This is a shot of the staging and lighting exhibit. My company doesn't do anything with staging or lighting, but I usually like to go see the exhibits. I was a little disappointed this year. A few years back in one of the Las Vegas shows, they hired a live band to play in the staging and lighting exhibit.
The only live music this year was at the Pioneer Professional Audio exhibit:
In other areas, there were video exhibits. This is just a shot of Mitsubishi and Panasonic:
Speaking of video, the video wall exhibits were nothing short of stunning. This is an 8k video wall. It's 41'8" diagonal. I couldn't fit the entire thing in my camera field of view:
This video wall was smaller, but the processing was great. It was only a 4K wall, but the video quality was very good. I don't know it's exact size, but I'm guessing it was 16' wide.
Anyhoo, that's what I did for work the last two days!
