Yeah, not really. See my post on how I was all prepped to buy a Korean Epi but the guy screwed me, so I took a look at a LP, the PRS Santana SE, and bought that one and a Jackson off of Facebook Marketplace that our member JTCNJ picked up for me up in NJ from the guy on a local purchase type deal.

As a new member, one thing you will find out is we are so diverse, we don't even mind people playing Canadian, Godin guitars, PRS USA or ASIAN guitars, Fender, Gib, Dean, ESP, Jackson, Washburn, Ovation, Schecter, Ernie Ball, LSL, etc. So there is no Brand Bashing in here

Agree. There is only one other member that owns one of this great brand.



And this one is so rare, that I don’t know of any other owners

Those are the Vengeance series. I checked them out already. Just their version of a King V.
they are about $400 more than what I am looking at.

That look's great. This is what I would do. Epi V + Luthier for the win.

$2000 V is like a big-ticket guitar. I had a V go down once ($500 Epi). Chipped edges that need fixing up but surprisingly the rod was fine.

At the moment I am eyeing an Epiphone SG Special P90. $450 seems like a nice price to hit some Iommi tones and other things. That's the sort of price point I think makes sense to me. Worth more than what you are paying sort of thing.

I had an Epiphone V -- (actually Ive had 2) most recently this one


Korina reissue or whatever they call it. -- While I just cant "do" the V shape it was an EXCELLENT sounding/playing/ and well built guitar-- zero flaws or issues in build quality
I have several other Epiphones as well All are very much worth the $ spent if not much more
and I have owned at least 30 various epiphones over the years
