Honestly, they don't bother me much.
As long as a guitar is well made, plays well and sounds good, I couldn't give less of a poop about it's shape on either end of the instrument.

They are instruments and tools, not decorative art, right?

You know what though, LRT has an Epi Explorer and it's also a great guitar.
I think you might dig it too, being as that it's a 1984 model, built after Hetfield's own...of course, he brought this one with us to Mastodon and they all defaced it just like they did my Epi V...

White explorer with Eet fuk is the best no question about it.
