Epi - Prophecy V - Opinions?

Because it is out of stock or you didn't see it? I posted a link to the Jackson in my edit. It appears they can still get them but must be back ordered.

I saw some Scott Ian models in white at Sweetwater same deal though, Pre Order.

I saw that model too. I kinda like the one I have been looking at a little better. I believe the Scott Ian one comes in white, red or black all with white full face pickguards

I get it! I see what you did there. More "Edgy" .. get it! Because it's pointier, and has more badassery! <-- is that even a word?!?
be a man and live on the edge with edgy guitar. lol

LOL! @Ramo you know what happens when you dare me!
Now I am on everyone's list as soon as they get that Jackson in I'm ordering it, because Ramo just threw my man card down.

HAHA, Not that Ramo had to throw any darts at my man card, but I did buy a Jackson RR3 in basic black mostly because I wanted a V, and one with a Floyd was just an added bonus. I had a guy stand me up on a sweet Korean made Epi when he said he'd sell it to me and meet up in Baltimore and everything.

I scored a PRS and the Jackson instead of his one V.

Good lord lol
Just go play them all and then choose. I realize that may be difficult to do, but I'd seriously try my best before making any concrete decisions.

I have several Jackson guitars, Dean, Epi, Gibson, but that Epi of mine sure is a sweet guitar...personally I wouldn't put too much into what brand it is, or even the shape...just as long as it's well made, comfortable, and most importantly, plays and sounds great.

I have a Kelly that is one heavy uncomfortable piece of wood...even though it says Jackson on it...doesn't matter, it's not anywhere close to contending for the "fave guitar" title...and I am a bit of a Jackson fanboy....

Forget the name on the headstock!

what have I done! This thread is morphing into a name brand debate ...
Not really, I'm just sayin'.....I expect those prophecy series to be excellent, based on my own experience with Epi, though mine is a sig from 2017 and not a prophecy series....I don't know about the Fishman pups, but I've learned over the years that I personally prefer an aggressive passive over active pups, and I also like my poop hardtailed, no trem...

I hear ya on that! My favorite is still my Showmaster and my least favorite ... I'd rather not say or I will get the wrath of Ramo!:flame:
