High Voltages After Headfirst Origin 50 Mod

Looks like all the info posted here between September 9 through the 16th, was lost due to the recent crash of the TTR forum. In a nutshell... All is good with Robert's modded Origin 50! The amp now sits all buttoned up, and waiting to go home.

Since Sept 9, the amp's high voltages hitting V2 & V1 have been adjusted to more acceptable ranges, and the new fx loop circuit was installed. Plus, a pair of brand new EH 6CA7's were installed and biased to approximately 60%.

I'm planning to further update this thread with pics showing the completed project, new voltage chart, and more details on what we did to complete the mods.

I also have his reply detailing the fix...

There's no tutorial for modding the Origin 50, but there is HeadFirst tutorial for the Origin 20. This is highlighting the mods that will be different than modding an Origin 20. Also, the installed position of the new fx loop board was altered by a half an inch compared to the modding tutorial of the Orign 20.
