Usually, I've got my amp pretty cranked...
Whatever you want to call it, it is a standard circuit design. I'll rephrase what I posted earlier: Jason Tong probably and most likely forgot to draw in those two caps when he posted his hand-drawned schematic of the Origin 50. Those two caps are there in your Orgy 50!
It does have the affect of reducing the hiss.So this is basically noise reduction???
The 47pf or 50pf "fizz" cap between the PI plates is intended to reduce any high frequency "fizzy" content (on notes) & prevent them from being passed onto the power tubes, so "hiss," being up in the same frequency range is also reduced. So is a greater level of noise reduction possible with different values???
The difference between a 50pF and a 100pF fizz cap is going to be very very subtle. If there's enough room between the cap and the pcb, we can easily clip on another 50pF cap (in parallel) to the existing fizz cap, and you can hear for yourself the difference.I'm learning!
Very cool set up that sounds pretty good. You need to bolt down your stuff that's hanging on your walls...Usually, I've got my amp pretty cranked...

Yes.
I guess I can go back and look too, but I was a bit too lazy last night to do so...
No personal experience with the Rivera's Venus series of amps, but the few videos I've seen are very impressive. I do own a Rivera Quiana (50 watt, 6L6's, 2 channel, 4x10 combo), that does the Fender/Marshall combo very well. The Fandango is about the same as the Quiana but operates on EL34's. Some Venus's are based on 6V6's, some are 6L6's, and some have EL34's. The Chubster and the Clubster have similar topologies too.
I’ve been looking more at the Rivera stuff.
It looks very interesting. It seems like a well- thought amplifier and not gimmicky.
@syscokid has a badass 4x10 Rivera amp, IIRC...
I wouldn’t even need a big cabinet. I’d just need a head since I use an iso-cab for the speaker.
A 4x10 amp...not amp/cab
Yeah, I understand. But, for me I would only want a head.
Everyone does....
