What’s on the Grill

I used to when I was really little. Something happened on Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. Next thing I remember is raising hell at Long John Silvers & refusing to eat. Idk? I just can't. It tastes good & I try but it makes me sick.

Same here, when I was a kid we always went out on Fridays for the local fish fry's, then sometimes on Sunday to a local restaurant for dinner, I always got stuffed flounder and I loved it, until one day I just woke up and decided it was disgusting, never ate fish again, I can't even stand the smell of it, Tuna Fish was my go to sandwich when I was a kid, not anymore. I can handle Shrimp if it's breaded and deep fried, but that's as far as I go.

Same goes for Liver  I'll starve first before I eat that crap. Now veggies are another story, I love them, especially Brussel Sprouts!! :)

The only weird thing I eat is chicken liver, if someone else cooks it. Shrimp eat poop. :poo: You're eating poop. No beets or eggplant for me, otherwise I like it.

My two cents….

Haven’t met too many foods I won’t eat. Draw the line at sauerkraut….. clams and oysters (like swallowing snot)…. Pickles….. a few others. I have an issue with sushi. I go fishing. I call sushi bait.

I’m a carnivore. So pretty much anything beef, pork or yard bird gets eaten. Draw the line at internal organ food. Love seafood. Except already mentioned. There are days I prefer a grilled salmon over a grilled steak. Veggies. I eat most of them. Lima beans are yuckey.

Yes, this!!
I just got everything in order to make summer sausage. Can't wait. Only problem is I need 2 days to make it, and my time is limited with work. Gonna make it happen though.
I don’t hunt. No issue with those that do. Just never interested me. I like to fish. Worked with and knew guys that did hunt. Many times I’d get some sausage from those guys. Always yummy.

Getting tonight's anniversary menu in order..... noticed I'm getting low on Venison.

Happy anniversary. We have one of those coming up in a few days. Got a couple really nice ribeyes in the freezer to grill. Make some cream of asparagus soup. Maybe some type of tater. Homemade bread. Got a homemade strawberry sorbet in freezer for dessert. Open a nice red wine from the New York Finger Lakes region. Be some good eats. Will try and post up a good photo.

Everyone that works for me waits all year for my peppered jerky. Soooooo good. My favorite part of hunting, is sharing the food and stories.
Bet that is good. Haven’t made jerky in a long time. Have used ground beef mostly. Last couple times I did a beef roast sliced thin and marinated in a teriyaki sauce. We’re talking some good jerky.

Thank you, and likewise to you.
I'm going to do a filet minion I think. Need to see what's fresh in the market. This would be our last anniversary if I made venison, lol.
