I learned it by ear progression only, because I didn’t know how to properly tune a guitar, and I would still play it the same way today, not a full power chord but the (as I call them) cheater chords,
The 2 strings of a power chord , minus the root ..

Its a kick ass tune but been played to death....
I like perfect strangers, high way star, burn, child in time, hush, my introduction to chugs was Deep Purple, and Blackmore inspired me to play guitar.... he was crazy and i liked it :)

I used to like it. I've heard it 1000 times too many. My brain shuts down & I have to go to my happy place.

Yeah definitely the most overplayed song of theirs. I always loved Hush, Speed King, Lazy, Burn, Highway Star, Stormbringer ( stole that name for a band lol), Knocking at Your Backdoor and Perfect Strangers.

Rainbow was Deep Purple on steroids
