Sorry I'm late back to the party boys! I'll try to answer all your questions in the order received:
First of all Frank is right! I have way too many pedals. I don't even have a pedal board. If and when I put a musical group together I'm sure I'll put one together.
Now to answer questions for all you fine ladies and gents. ( It is a shame I don't believe we have any women in our group but perhaps I'm mistaken )
RVA I have around nine fuzz pedals I'll try to to list from memory: Boss FZ-2 Hyper fuzz, Big Muff Pi V9, Peppermint fuzz, Havalina fuzz, Moen Fuzz Moo, MXR germanium mini fuzz, MXR Jimi Hendrix mini fuzz, DOD Flashback Fuzz, Velvet fuzz. I've had the Velvet since last Wednesday or so, same with the DOD Flashback. I've tried it out with humbuckers and single coils and also with SCN noiseless pups. I like it best putting the pedal after a wah with true bypass. I find the VF to have a unique voice of its own.
Mr Grumpy sir, yes I have a DSL5C. I do enjoy my Marshalls. I have four of them JTM1H, C5H, DSL15C and DSL5C. I still need to run the VF through any of them. I got them put away right now. Even though I love Marshalls, I've been exposed to Fenders since I was a younger teen/man. I really am totally nuts over Champs and VCs. In the future I will get a DR.
JohnnyGoo, brother I'll post some pics of the fuzz collection after I do a little catch up.
RVA, I'm not sure which version I have on the VF.
Mr. Grumpy, no I have not played an SG with 490s through the VF through a Marshall yet. I don't have an SG with 490 pups but, I do have a 1998 LP Special SL with the 490/498 pups.
By the way Frank, yeah the name "Timmy" does come off like it just jumped over from the "San Francisco" rainbow side of the fence. ( No offense intended to anyone here please and I'm sorry ahead of time to those who might be sensitive ) but it is truly one of the best ods I have ever played. What might make a good thread would be: "Best Overdrives we have tried out so far."
I hope I answered all your questions for right now guys. I really enjoy all the comments on here very much so far.
