So, I am looking for a practice amp, small thing to have some fun (yeah, no need for a 3 storie sound wall xD).
This is somethings that I really would like to have:
* Be a modelling amp (cause no money to spend in pedals at the moment xD)
* Record output
* FX loop
* Accepting switch pedals would be a plus, but not one of the basics.
* Very important: I would like to retain my two kidneys xD
So, I have some amps I've search and liked but one or two things are missing:
* Vox VT20/40x sound amazing for crazy cheap, but no fx loop and no record output,
* Positive grid spark 40, sounds in paper like a dream for free, except many reviews are basically painfully clear paid ads, and the one or two that had a second of honesty pointed that it sounds muffled and a too bass heavy, which is a no go for me.
* Fender Mustang LT25/50 sound pretty neat for the price, but that screen smaller than my smartwatch screen is just as useful has having no screen, and no fxloop
* Boss katana 50, sounds very good, but no recording lineout or fx loop
* Fender Mustang GTX50, well, this one sounds amazing to my ears, checks all the ticks easily, except the bill... 389€ is a bit heavy for a newbie.
Now, my heart is very heavily torn between forgetting the recording and fx loop and go for one of the Vox VT20X, or forget the hard my back worked for those green bills and go for the Fender Mustang GTX50.
So, throw your opinions. Recording and fx loop overrated?
I like to future proof but....
If you have any others that pass the chevk list please let me know. Or if they miss one chevk, let me know why you would still get it.
All opinions are appreciated!! :dood:
