JCM2000 good deal?

my stupid story

bass player since forever.... play anything no genre favorite , always had work & bands

guitar player bails in 2015 & i paid for 10 songs up front, talked them into reschedule cause they would not refund it all, I go get SG & 339, Bugera V22 & Peavey VK2..pull it off 4 months later on guitar in studio, Play out all summer on that CD & mid summer singer gets in trouble..had to sing the dates we committed to..sucked but it worked & the transparency paid off..many fans over the years

wife grabs mic in 2016..ahh instant blues rock..do another 10 songs in studio..practiced up, ready to go,,my cuz(phenomenal jazz bassist) & killer young drummer into much more than standard drumming..percussionist).we had a blues show with jam music..from a metal meltdown to sit down cabaret music then strait int pink floyd space music..

.wham..accident..brain injury, wife is stuttering for 6 months & her testing came back with IQ level in the 60's,,full time care taking now

she starts to get better.. start getting into Marshall's..met Mitch n MF & we kinda where on fire with music early 2018..his garage clips..my studio stuff..made for some serious enthusiasm

2018..here we go again..built full band room out back..go in studio 10 more songs, that stuff is n MF cause i posted as we went....got band ready..old drummer & my cuz,,,really tight & got wife into some heavies...wham..2:25 pm Nov 1, 2018..i am unlocking a car..i hear some people yell..i look over a BMW going 45mph hit my parked car..wife head smacks windshiled..i die inside, cause i couldn't save her..i am standing there..dude had backed up & is coming at us again.i jump in to try & grab my wife & i get knocked the hell out & wife hits her head again after he creamed us the 2nd time...a guy chased him down & he would not come back...my wife is hurt so bad..my leg is dented & our life suckssssssssssss..

i am stuck at home running 2 companies & taking care of wife,, sold my Harley & now buy gear for fun but am dead serious about making music..so freaking ready when the right players show up..will fund it all & put a band on the road when ready..

but... in reality...its time to just record..,maybe build the bandroom into a video place..set it up for concerts maybe..wife cant be around loud music & i feel so guilty if i go take a studio job or when i get asked to play in some bands locally...

when you hear the heavies..it just means i am pissed in life & nowhere left to go..rather would do texture rock..right now just want to be numb

Brother, I gave you a love on this post.

Hugs incoming.

When we get the open air outside gig..we set it all up behind us & turn it up !! Nothing like that..just like the old days.
One of my favorite memories was my highschool band played the Talent Show my sophomore year. The band that won the previous year, provided all of THEIR gear for the other bands and were playing that year too. Except, we demanded we use our own stuff minus the drums (because they wouldnt give us time to tear down that set for ours) and moved our amps to the side, plugged and ready to go ( dialed them in at soundcheck earlier that day). We had 5 mins to play, not a second over.

We had our poop cranked up and played Crazy Train, absolutely roared that thing and i actually have a VHS of it somewhere , where you see the other band's guitarist behind our stage trying to turn down the PA. But our amps werent mic'ed , so he couldnt turn us down.

We ended up kicking their asses but came in 3rd to an emo punk band that did an original and a drum battle between two guys who won ( they allowed them to use another smaller set on the side, go figure). Oh well, still tore the building down. Marshall powered! Lol

My Pennsy brother
Damm you have pulled and pushed all the right keys , things in general right now don’t seem right, but I know my brother Den and his wife are going to put this behind them at some point soon .
And I for one am looking forward to seeing it.
Cheers buddy
Your friend from the West Coast
Thanks

Man thats hell of the story, im sorry to hear that you had to go through with so much.

i really hope your wife recovers soon and fully.

when i hear your songs i can hear you singing it from the heart. Best music comes when you you are pissed or in a dark place.

i wish you nothing but best my brother, stay positive and keep banging them tunes out.

Your amp then IS essentially a JCM2000 DSL 100 and a 50 ,because you can change from high power to low power right? They really are very similar to the 2000s except yours has newer updates like the power switching, midi controls and more footswitch controls. Hell, stick with it man! Lol
I tolled you mine is the bling :)

yes , i can switch from 100 to 50 just push the button. ( bling baby bling )

i think dsl 2000 sounds bit different and more heavier.

I appreciate that Ramo. The heart..yes..music any genre..do that & wow does it translate. I listen to every single Original song you guys do on here & take it over watching regular bands.

From not having a natural guitar ability & having to fight the last 5 years for every single improvement. I appreciate anybody that bears their soul on here.

TTR, by post per member kicks ass over every single other Forum in music making..WAV & the first members on here have made a platform for discussion & then onto actual example of playing those NAD & NGD's..you guys are some serious players & would love to be able to jam with any of ya !!

Likewise my friend! Id play with you or any of these guys here if given the chance ( living in BFE WV is a bit of barrier admittedly lol). This is the first forum where ive never had or even seen a single bickering or argument amongst the people. Everyone is supportive and very cool to one another

This is why I love this forum. I asked a question about an amp I was interested in possibly buying. I learned more about Marshall amps than I ever dreamed. I learned the personal stories of some online friends. Thank you all for such a great thread. Many forums would have labeled the thread off topic and shut it down. Here we all enjoy the banter while learning about our gear and fellow forum members.

Well said brother
I remember the first time I posted a clip I thought that it would be ridiculed , but instead I made many new friends, and therefore I am not ashamed of my playing or tone, and enjoy posting them, and encouraging others to do the same.
Thanks

Kerry: Absolutely! I love the first hand gear information you can get here from REAL people and i absolutely love the goofy banter, it makes it fun to join in or just watch. That's hard to find in these days with trolls lying all over the internet, looking to just make other's miserable. Haven't seen that here thankfully!

Mitch: i can second that statement! I never uploaded a thing before, basically hadnt played to anyone but myself in over 20 years. Threw a few quick, spitballed videos out and expected absolutely mockery if im being honest. Thankfully, people were too kind lol

Im a pretty big believer in Karma ( for lack of a better word) and figure : take a second to actually LISTEN to someone who's trying to express themselves musically and making an effort, while making themselves vulnerable. Not only can you be supportive and help push that person forward but you can learn a thing or two from what they are doing. Everyone brings something to the table differently and I have no shame in admitting I will incorporate that into what I do. I have gotten inspiration from all over here!

You created an army & it helped start a plug n play revolution..where we all just played more so than talk about it..

People want to vacatoin in Disneyland, the Bahamas ect...my idea would go to Cali & jam in that garage for a week..film it live & have that last blast rock n roll old school..old man jam !!

@BFT Gibson I fight with guitar too and my progress is really slow as I don't have natural talent. I've been labelled tone-deaf but that didn't stop me playing :)

@Clockworkmike if you want to play with me, I don't want to see that 335 guitar otherwise I run and won't look back :), bring your explorer and be ready for chugging lol

@Kerry Brown I registered on thrash metal forum got banned same day lol, as they are so above everyone and having all pointless rules... I was like F... you all I'm going back home to my TTR. Seriously this is the best place, people are knowledgable and on top of that real down to earth cool ass kicking peeps.

@Mitch Pearrow SJMP you keep posting brother is fun watching you riffing, and play with that V ore she feels lonely :)
