Multi Area CA lockdown in effect at 11:59pm Dec 6,2020

its nice when i meet my regulars, you get to know them they get to know you and makes journey pleasant. i had this older Gent every day he was going to shops first then to his mate stay there few hours and back to his. the trip was literally up the road, i didnt mind as he was my regular. i have not heard or picked him up in long time. he was heavy smoker and i fear the worst. i ask my firm when he booked the cab last time and it was way before summer... i hope he still around. had other older gent Gordon i didnt put meter for him fiver would do i said :) he was funny but loved to winge :)
 
i and a former business partner always thought "It would be fun to own a Pub" ---- then we took on a client....that OWNED A PUB, after REALLY learning what every day was (well every NIGHT -- every HOLIDAY etc) was like ,......... we decided we would stay in the ADVERTISNG AND MARKETING business !

Yes in reality I wouldn't want it. Working terrible hours and too much. But, as a regular? Thats where Im a viking!

I believe the Covid-19 pandemic is real, but I also believe we are not being told 100% truth.

That's pretty much the same here too, but the gubbermint have to justify their knee jerk initial over-reaction.
 
They have been claiming here up to 40% of small businesses will close and never return. I believe these statistics to be true from listening to small business owners. We have lockdowns in Toronto area right now the small businesses had to close, the big box stores remain open at this point. There have already been some small businesses go under. The Government is giving even more relief packages to help keep the small business owners afloat until we can get through this thing. Hopefully it will be enough to slow the bleeding.

Business wise, the small guys have been brutalized throughout this thing and its really sad watching places you love, shrivel up and wither away
