Friedman Amplifier Customer Service

Monomyth has some neat sounding amps. I'd never heard of them before this post:

Thats awesome by the way, that Dave Friedman himself took the call! As much as I love companies like Marshall or Gibson, i would imagine an average customer would NEVER get to directly talk to Paul Marshall ( RIP Jim) or James Curleigh at Gibson.

Thats keeping relatable to your consumer!

I'm not that surprised honestly. Friedman is a tiny operation in North Hollywood, little more than a shack, which is all it needs to be since the production is handled elsewhere. I'd be shocked if there are more than 10 people working there in total.

But the fact I received such a quick reply, and I'm sure the man wasn't just waiting around for "old Steve" to call. Color me impressed.

Will definitely have an impact on my next purchasing decision, will give that company way more consideration going foward.

I think these "smaller" amp guys in L.A. are just really into what they are doing and want to be in touch with the people that are excited about what they create. I've never owned a Bogner but rumor has it Reinhard Bogner will routinely pick up the phone himself if you call over there. Its awesome, and I do want to get me a Friedman one of these days.

Awesome little amps. plus i still got windows in my house. Who the fook ia actually gonna dime a fookin 100 watt tube stack or half stack in the house ? hell even a 50 watt tube amp half stack for :poo: sakes.Silly. i beat the :poo: out of this set up day in and day out. I have some tube amps but this little Marshall is such fun i dont bother with them.Just blow the cobwebs out of them once in awhile.
Diming a 100 watter in the house?
Oh yeah, I've been known to do that from time to time. Is it silly? Yes, yes it is. Is it fun? Absolutely!

Lmao right there with ya bud! I knocked the vinyl siding off the backside of the house with a cranked Mode Four fullstack when i still lived at home and the folks were gone, years ago.

Learned the fine art of vinyl siding installation that weekend

They just sound MEAN. I asked the creator on his channel once if those were boosted with a pedal and he laughed at me with a simple " No" lol
