Friedman Amplifier Customer Service

End of that convo, as far as I'm concerned.

Most of my amplification is heavily "British" flavored.

But I'll take an old Strat or LP any old day.
Absolutely! I love a LOT of the American made amplifiers as well as a few foreign guitar brands out there, but pound for pound: an American brand guitar into a British brand amp defines the classic electric guitar tone.

Most any famous guitar hero has used some combination of the two

Agreed, if you put my LP through my Marshall JTM 45 you can't find a setting that doesn't sound great. Even with all the clams I hit lol.

Laughed my ass off at this, so thanks lol

But speaking of Butterslax, anyone heard of Monomyth amps? I see these videos pop up on Youtube and all i know of them is its a guy who mods old Marshalls like the JMPs and 800s mainly but i never heard a Marshall like these things. Id like to find out more on them
That sounds great man, crap I would love to get that tone
Thanks

I have some tube amps but this little Marshall is such fun i dont bother with them.Just blow the cobwebs out of them once in awhile.

I actually from time to time, dime mine out. I have excellent structured walls and great sound batt insulation :pound-hand:lol

Nice guitar, but you can keep that amp, no offense. Is it legendary and cool? Sure! But call me cheap or pragmatic, but considering most original Ken Fischer Trainwrecks START north of $25,000 on today's markets, ill take that cash and go buy a few fully loaded rigs ( guitars, pedals and amps) or an entire backline of fullstack Marshalls or Mesa Boogies.

It seems we always hear the "bad" about companies customer service. If that is what you're looking for no need to read any further.

As many of you know I own, and love my Friedman BE-OD Deluxe pedal, still having a honeymoon a year later!

Well, I had a few questions re; use, and technical info. Found Friedman's customer service email and shot off some questions.

This is no small company, worldwide etc.., was going to be happy with any answers, no matter how long I had to wait.

Long story short, had my replies within fifteen minutes and answered by Dave Friedman himself! Replied to me via his email.

Who does that in this day and age of hiding behind a keyboard? Friedman Amplification, that's who.

Very impressive customer service IMO.

So promised myself that I would post on their behalf, brothers if you're in the market for any products they manufacture please give this company your consideration, I would not hesitate any purchase of said companies products. They really are concerned with the customer even after making their money.

Go Friedman!
Thats awesome by the way, that Dave Friedman himself took the call! As much as I love companies like Marshall or Gibson, i would imagine an average customer would NEVER get to directly talk to Paul Marshall ( RIP Jim) or James Curleigh at Gibson.

Thats keeping relatable to your consumer!

I'm fortunate to be working in an industry where I get invited to play things like a guy's 1959 Les Paul and various pieces of rare and vintage gear.

I am yet to be impressed by any of this high dollar, "Look What I Spent" equipment, but I do understand that this industry is driven by purchase price competition.

My humble $499.00 Origin 50 Watt Head, and a modest custom 2x12 cabinet, give me a great sound, plus they are light and easy to transport.

Couldn't be more pleased with how this rig performs..
