I worked on the septic system repairs all day -- got the system running again (yeah) so Mrs Shannon had a few days woerth of dishes to catch up..............
I ran to PUBLIX for FRIED CHICKEN and fixins in the Deli you Florida Boys know what Im talking about -- makes KFC and Popeyes look bad -- costs less tastes better

Dinner came out great! Sorry, no plated pictures...The cauliflower steamed perfectly, the taters were tender, and the chicken was sauced up and savory!
Gonna burn off any drippings now, and cleanse the grate with fire!

It was 62 F up here today, so I actually grilled a burger an hour ago.

It‘s 70 here, with Bauernwurst on the grill. Got some leftover sauerkraut too.

Today I tossed what’s called a Center Cut Brisket in the smoker. Four hours of smoking and a couple in the oven tented under aluminum foil..... and we had this tonight. Tender. Moist. Yummy.
