Tired of Fooling Around...

??????????? did the custom shop SG go back ????
I know the first one did ---

am I missing something ?

Can I get a Play book I cant keep track of the teams..........whos on first?

The second one turned out to be not as good as I'd like after dropping the $$$. That and the feeling the Custom Shops at Gibson and Fender are just selling the myth of the past.

I just couldn't justify the $3500 extra between the CS 61' and a $1500 Standard.

So I said F' it I wand an old original if I'm spending $5K...

Looks like a fine example you have found. I agree that its far better to avoid Gibson's modern mythology and select an instrument from an era when Made in USA was a wholly truthful statement and the worker genuinely cared for the reputation of the firm.

Treasure.
That is one of the sweetest SG guitars ever made. The Dickey Betts Model.

Don't let that out of your sight.
Don't EVER sell that guitar.

Although, the wiring is kind of slopped up....you can fix that.
