Another NSGD!

I can attest to the LOVELY transformation Hack performed on a "SPECIAL" SG that was made EXEMPLARY and STUNNING beyond its original design

He also did the Gloss Voodoo to the "trade" fodder I got from him-----
Hack has a saying all his and my gear will eventually be mine and his gear --- BVUWAHAHAHAHA-- we swap gear like hookers at a Hells ANgels convention

this WAS a simple SGJ with the matte finish at one time..........BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Chasfred gets Kudos for the Bigsby sale/purchase/deal
That looks amazing and the shine is awesome. It certainly is making me lean toward doing the refin.

Well--- lemmie throw this at ya---
I love the SGJ and the gloss finish ---- however I typically GRAB the Faded T when just Noodling for a few minutes-- or as a LOW muss/fuss grab wail toss back on the hook gutiar--- the worn finish HAS its "merits" in ease of care-- no smudge-- no finger prints no funk (I mean its still there you just dont SEE it lol)

Your Patriot. It got a blast of the DupliColor clear wheel coating.

I just couldn't capture the gloss. Needed a shiny surface like a beer can to reflect.
So far this seems to be one of the more durable clears.

If you have trouble finding nitro or polyurethane guitar finishing supplies @ninjaking67, check out www.guitaraust.com.au. They stock a couple of the main brands & all the fillers etc & other necessary items. If it seems expensive, you gotta figure in our Aussie dollar's piss poor value at the moment (about 65% US$). If they won't ship to Canada I could help you out with. Cheers
Edit:
I just checked their site, they do ship internationally & you won't be paying Australian GST (goods & services tax, IIRC about 15%) which is inclusive in listed item prices. Cheers

Thanks Ivan. I may just take you up on the offer. Finding poly products isn’t an issue but good non-automotive lacquer products are harder to come by.

So earlier on I said that I wouldn’t do anything to this beastie until I got the vibrola. Well........I guess I lied!
I couldn't just have it sitting there staring at me with all the dust and grime and mung all over it.
Apart she came for a good cleaning and check up.

I have to say that it most definitely does not have a Gibson stoptail as there are no casting marking on the bottom. I believe that it would say “Advanced Plating” if it was a Gibby. This one is completely blank and quite heavy.
The bridge says “BR-EG” on the underside as shown here:

Damn even single wire lead and braided ground pups. Awesome.look how good a job they did getting the screw holes even on the little neck joint cover. Ive seen some pretty pee pore jobs with this . Great guitar you scored.
