My XR500R has a 36" seat height...

An average Saturday ride is 200-225 miles through the open desert....

The naming of Apple Valley is historically associated with area pioneer, John F. Appleton.

There was, however, a well known apple orchard that was owned by Max Ihmsen, publisher of the Los Angeles Examiner newspaper.

In 1915, he developed 320 acres (1.3 km2) of apples and pears. The fame of Apple Valley spread as Ihmsen’s fruit won many agricultural awards. Then there is Palmdale CA named after the Joshua trees that were mistaken for palm trees by the people that discovered this land in the high desert. Then again Columbus also named the indigenous people of this land "Indians" when he got lost.

Thanks guys, I do play guitar through my Marshall amps , last night on my 3-1/2 hour commute home was listening to the Scorpions, animal magnetism and there Is a tune on there that I sort of remember , will post a clip of it tonight.
