Are we saying foreign bikes are bad? Triumph last I checked were made out of the US and the parts come from China just like every other bike out there? I mean they are made in India and Thailand...…..

Nope but I'm also not shouting BUY AMERICAN BUY HARLEY like many Harley riders do.....not all but many.....
I've ridden many brands us and foreign
Long as its fast and reliable I dont care where it's made

I am going to recall WAV’s post about dirt bike magazine, I remember it well as it was a monthly magazine that I purchased all the time, then motocross action came out and I was for ever hooked

My dad got one of these in 1973. It was awesome going to the Yamaha dealer back then. I really wanted a YZ80. Started riding a Honda Mini Trail 50 on my grandparents farm. Seven years old and I was hooked for life.

I currently ride this 2002 Deuce. 95 inch big bore kit, small cams and Vance & Hines Bigshots. All the power I need now and very comfortable to ride.

I remember looking at those. Was it a DT125? I was 7, so a little big for me then.

I think it was...That was one fun bike..
I changed the forks and some other things on it and it looked like an MX with a headlight on it...

We paid $799.00 for it brand new...Lol

I miss that lil thing..

A lot of it has to do with the economy, Harley has been sourcing out parts manufacturing to China and Japan and with the sanctions the USA has imposed, Harley has had to raise prices and most die hard Harley owners want a bike made in the USA without imported parts. Trump even suggested Harley moving production to India and that isn't gonna fly. Mine is a late 60's Deluxe all USA made and I like it that way.
