Harley Davidson in trouble

HAHA then around 1978 I met a kid who had a Z 50, and an XR75 and then he got a new one of these.

He let me ride the XR and the Z50,,,,,,,,,, and in short time he let me ride his new YZ 125

WOAH< ARE YOU SERIOUS, John?

I didn't think weather ever got warm enough for long enough in Illinois to ride a motorcycle.

Or the wind let up enough to not knock you off the bike.

Wish there was an east coast dealer. I'd like to see one in person.

Seeing as '90s era Evo Superglides are going for about four grand, I may start hunting for one after some of the immediate repairs around the house start getting finished.

I still have my Pan/Shovel, but my knee hurts every time I look at it. Have the four K Model Basket Cases in the basement too. Hopefully, I get a machine shop job in a few years when I'm done with travelling, and can start knocking out projects again.

when I lived in the keys a coworker and I bought motorcycles from the same dealership....in North Orlando ----6.5 hour drive -- rented a car-- left EARLY drove up got the paperwork signed handed over the $ and rode back to the Keys :)

that was 2007 in July ---- in Fl. ---

By the time I was 15 in 79, I saved enough to pay a fella $500 for a used 78 RM 125, Sadly some real Azzholes stole it 5 days after I got it. I have hated criminals ever since.
My 1st bike was a 85'-86' KDX125 & I hadn't rode since my teens & my son was getting old enough & wanting a quad so I bought a 87' RM250 & him a CR80. He really didn't end up liking to ride. I tried to give him a new Honda Shadow 600VLX for his graduation present but he just isn't into 2 wheels. We traded and got him a Iroc Z though so he ended up happy :)

Here are some of my other past bikes.....not all Harley's :p
93' ZX-6e with a 99' plastics installed.

I sold the 93' & bought this 2000 ZX6R

my riding bud bought this 99' FZR6R at the same time and always said my bike was the reason I was faster so he offered me $2500 & his FZR for my Ninja so I did it, I paid $3600 for it and when he got it from me it had 36k on it and the FZR had 8k miles.....but the laugher is.....he was still slower :p

Sweet bikes, Robv. I have back and hip issues and the funny thing is as much as I like a bike with footpegs mid bike, I cannot ride em without feeling a stabbing pain like a hip pointer so crotch rockets sort of kill me even though I love how they perform.
