One more triple

So I made a proper radiused one on my scroll saw with a piece of maple, tinted as needed, a shot of clear and...

I wish I could have seen how you shaped and finished this beautiful TRC. Along with all the tools that you used. Amazing stuff!

Thanks Sysco, well first I used my profiling tool to get the inside radius of the headstock fall away area. It takes the shape of what ever you use it on.

Like this post, then you can transfer that exact shape to whatever you want to duplicate.

Then transferred that shape to a piece of flamey maple.

Next, I cut out an 1/8" slice on my scroll saw

and profiled it with my modified belt / spindle sander

Then finished it off with a series of sanding drums and a Dremel.
A shot or two of clear and.

Excellent, Hackmaster... Thanks!

I have that exact same contour gauge, and I don't think I've ever used it. Probably because I keep forgetting that I have it...

Looks like you purposely cut off one end of that belt sanders shroud to access the curve of the sanding belt!

I look at this picture and to my eye, it appears like the small guard SG looks fatter than the full guard one.

What do you guys think? Optical illusion or dimensions that are actually cut so different we can see em?
Otherwise known as do my pick guards make me look fat?

Does the sign work?

That's where the little pit bull came in handy.

Now the Jehovah's just leave their little leaflets on my gate.:D
