Strategy for Super Bowl Season

Oh I see-----

But I own Patriot Guitars-- (PEavey)
and we have many birds-- so wouldnt Eagles or Ravens be included
we have more Ligthing in Central Fl than anywhere else in the US-- so CHARGERS could fit-- my Littlet dog is named Lolla BEar-- so BEARS could work again birds-- seahwaks - -Ocean Chickens --
-- farm--- cattle will be here eventually -- COWBOYS--we have a male goat --sheep RAM thing-- my woifes truck is a DOGE Ram-- and so that leaves CHIEFS and Texans OUT--

Sure...change ‘em up however you want.

See...you’re catching on!

Well I test Rode a Chief (By Indian) -- and I changed my OIL and they have OIL in Texas where the TEXANS are-- so -- Im covered no matter what happens---or can I just change teams when I change underwear?

Naw...it’s easy.

You’re not picking your favorite team. You’re picking choices for the Super Bowl. In fact, the point of being a Bandwagon Fan is NOT to pick a favorite team to follow through the regular season. That’s just too much work. The point of being a Bandwagon Fan is to latch onto a few teams in the playoffs so you can join in the excitement. You don’t have to worry about stats and stuff. Who’s got time for all that?

Let me help you out....

Here are your choices this year, in no particular order:

New England Patriots
Philadelphia Eagles
Indianapolis Colts
New Orleans Saints
Baltimore Ravens
Chicago Bears
Seattle Seahawks
Dallas Cowboys
Houston Texans
Las Angeles Chargers
Las Angeles Rams
Kansas City Chiefs

Okay...Let’s pick your primary team. Keep in mind, you can change these around.

Let’s see...you have a lot of animals around your yard. Horses are farm-type animals. A colt is a young horse.

Your Primary Team is the Indianapolis Colts.

Now, for your Backup Teams.

You like the movie “The Blues Brothers.” One of the songs in that movie is “Sweet Home Chicago.”

Your first Backup Team is the Chicago Bears.

You like Peavey. Peavey is headquartered in Mississippi, which is right next to Louisiana. New Orleans is in Louisiana.

Your second Backup Team is the New Orleans Saints.

See how easy that was!

The point isn’t to settle on a favorite team. The point is to have a cheap reason to celebrate.

Now, a word of caution...the Bandwagon Fan strategy does NOT work in hockey. There’s really bad juju if you try it with hockey.

Good news, Adrian...

The Colts just won their game against the Texans.

So, you’re on your way to a Super Bowl victory!

Allen Hurns broke is ankle in the game today, Dallas vs. Seattle. It was terrible to watch.

Feb 3rd (turd) and its Super Bowl LIII

which looks to me like LIE ......so well there ya go

Yes. That may have some meaning...

But, as a Bandwagon Fan it’s important not to get too emotionally attached to a team. The objective is being able to celebrate at the end of it all because your team (for that instant in time) won.

That’s not to say there is no work and commitment involved. There certainly is. You do need to watch a game now and then in the post season to support your primary or backup teams. If you don’t actually watch a game, you should be sure to check the scores to see how they are doing...unless something else comes up or you forget.

However, following stats, individual or team records, players’ names...all that is just too much work. Leave that to the hardcore fans. You’ll learn the name of the quarterback when you see him play, anyway. No need to study up on that stuff.

Now, if neither your primary or backup bandwagon teams actually make it to the Super Bowl, you are allowed to wait until kickoff of the Super Bowl, itself, to make a pick. Alternatively, if you’re especially motivated, you can pick new teams as the post season progresses.

One thing the Bandwagon Fan must never, ever, EVER do is watch the halftime show! That is the domain of the hardcore fan only. Sitting and suffering through that demonstrates WAY too much commitment and dedication to the event that could cause someone to be confused into thinking you actually care. If you really want to see the performance, wait until it shows up on YouTube.

But, as a Bandwagon Fan

there is a BAND on a WAGON --- wait this gets better................will they be using MESA/BOOGIE amps ??? Because as you know thanks to HACKMASTER I have become a MESA snob --- and no other amplification will do ------

will there be small hotdogs wrapped in dough and salsa and chips? --- Im NOT going if we dont have salsa and chips

Well, all MY teams are in the final four. So what's it going to be after today, all you bandwagoneers?

Well...... easy for me. I’m also from Illinois..... as in my entire life. For that reason Da Bears are my team. That said. Used to watch Bears games every Sunday. Haven’t been watching NFL much at all for several years now. So this year. Bears were one and done in the playoffs. So for me. Pro football was over. By accident I know the 4 teams playing today for their chance at the Super Bowl. I may or may not watch it in two weeks. Actually. I only know the Patriots and Chiefs. Don’t know who the other two are.

About the only football I really care about anymore is college. And again. Primarily one team. Northwestern. I will watch a couple of their games and will watch them if they make a bowl game.

Other than that. Spring training and baseball is only a few months off. Can’t wait.
