I love early Yes. First two albums with Peter Banks & Tony Kaye not as much, though it's cool to hear their gestalt taking shape - formative years.
But then with Howe & Wakeman - The Yes Album, Fragile, and Close To The Edge - they produced some of my favorite prog rock ever.
And it's timeless - hasn't become dated (like the ELP albums that I so loved but can't really listen to anymore).
Big fan of Tales From Topographic Oceans too. Even without Bruford, their least-appreciated album still does it for me.
Saw them live a number of times in the 70s; the last tour I saw was Relayer.
My old friend/bandmate Darrell Gilbert toured with them for awhile as Steve Howe's guitar tech.
