I have tried many amps from tube to SS, finally found the one for me. Crush 35RT has the tones I've been looking for this is my main amp. If need be will keep up with a band. On my wish list is a Rocker 15.
 
I've had a couple of Orange amps, but the only one I currently have is a Micro Dark.
I really like them for that one thing they do but it's something I only want once in a while when I get the mood. Mostly I like "smoother" sounding amps but when I want to get raunchier than my Recto can go Orange is the move.
 
This past year, the Dark Terror has been my favorite amp. In fact, I enjoy playing it more than my Marshall DSLs.
I roll back to 7 on my SG, set the gain to 10 o'clock, then kick into crunch with my guitar volume as needed.
I also replaced V1 and V2 with 5751 valves. Dig it.

I’ve had my Tiny Terror since they first came out in mass. Tried it, loved it, gigged with it, and still have it.
I’ve since built an amp that I wanted the TT to behave like(more clean headroom), but I still use the TT regularly.
I am intrigued by the new two channel version. It sounds like they’ve addressed everything I could have wanted. Foot switchable clean/dirty channels, fx loop, three band eq, etc.
 
I had a Rocker 30 for awhile. It had an awesome tone but it was really a one trick pony. It was a very nice trick though. I traded it for Gretsch Guitar. The Gretsch was nice but in the end I think the Orange was nicer. No regrets though. The Gretsch was traded for a Peavy Classic 50 4x10 combo, which became an SG Special, which became a Takamine acoustic, which became cash, which bought a Taylor GS Mini-e, which I still have. I think am addicted to trading, buying, and selling guitar gear.
 
I maybe acquiring an ORANGE 35RT tomorrow.......

I posted this the first time nothing happened so I posted it again, just came back to the thread and wow a double take. Oh well, I must be working faster than the computer LOl.
