Who would be your teacher for a year?

From the list? Honestly none of them. All are or were brilliant but most of them are largely feel players with unique styles that couldnt really be taught.

I’ve been in a Kiko Loureiro (ex-Megadeth) rabbit hole for months. He’s obviously got metal chops but he’s well versed in Brazilian music, jazz, and many other styles. He explains theory in a way even a dumb-ass like me can understand. This interview is a good example of his range.

Kiko is very cool ...
Kiko + Plini is even cooler!

One teacher i'd love to spend a year with is my tutor from uni because
i'm a lot more capable of playing and processing now, and he was a real specialist
in the chord-melody thing. Unfortunately he's no longer with us ...
This fellow is, though:
I'd definitely learn a lot!
