96. Fender Stratocaster

Original Headquarters: Corona, California
Purchased By: Servco Pacific
Country: China (Made In)
Fender Stratocaster is a guitar brand that musicians like Jimi Hendrix and Elvis Presley loved. Having a Stratocaster is a pricey symbol of dedication to music, and the Player Stratocaster is the entry-level model. Fender’s Player is under $700, while higher-priced Fenders, like the America Ultra HSS and the Acoustasonic, have higher price tags

I have 2 Fenders.
Page Dragon Tele - changed the pups to vintage noiseless and added a 4-way switch for parallel / series in pos 2&3.
Also have an American Ultra Strat (SSS) - no real mods, just decked the trem with 5 springs and threw the bar in the case.
Don't ply 'em as much as the Gibsons, but got 'em for when I'm going for that kinda tone.

In 2020, Servco bought majority controlling interest in Fender. 90% of Fender's products are Chinese. Only 4% of Fender's products are USA Made.

Pallets of Chinese made goods, with Chinese shipping manifests, are sent to Fender CS everyday.

Nothing at Fender is what it seems.

Hand-Wired 1964 Princeton Reverb's with all Chinese made internal components. These amps have an almost unreal failure rate.

But, that's just the tip of the iceberg....

One true Fender and two fake fenders.
The Strat is a MIM Strat.

A Tele clone that started life as a kit guitar. Original owner painted it with a paint brush. I sanded it to bare wood. Stained and cleared it.

And my Frankentele I’ve been working on for what seems like forever. Parts coming from multiple vendors and locations.

Fender guitars I could live without I always liked Gibson better.
But
I always loved fenders amps especially 1960s piggyback and combos. The cabinetry and tolex /chassis is really one of the best ever made and longest lasting.
I make old fenders into sort of marshalls and people say it's deranged.
True But I like a marshall in a more compact stronger fender cabinet chassis, and I like the fender cleans marshall sustain combined into 1 amp.

Yup
I noticed a lot of new Princetons are dying.
I noticed the newer tube sockets in Fenders, suck eggs.

Tell me how you miss 3,000 of these misspelled tags and I'm the only one to catch it????
