White Les Paul Studio for Sale

It is play wear. Some of the discoloration was there when I got the husk; some of it is from me. After I built it, it was practically the only guitar I played for a couple years, until I did all my mods to my Jackson.
Is there any finish cracks, etc on the back of the neck? or is that the only thing, play wear.? I can't see it really clearly from the pictures.

There are a few scratches, but no actual finish cracks, as I can tell.

The most pronounced scratch is circled below. I honestly can't say if it was there when I got the guitar, or not. It very well may have been caused by my wedding band.

The only other actual break in the finish is the one in your post (#52). As we've discussed privately, that was there when I got the husk. It is a paint chip and looks like the previous owner tried to fill the chip with touch-up paint. I did know about that when I got the husk, as it was shown in the original eBay listing.

It sort of gives me an example / test guitar which is "average."

I would like a LP custom, but the price is still a little high.
As for the lack of weight, I will be evaluating the consequences of that. If it's noticeably microphonic than I probably won't play it too long.
I have been an SG guy up to now. I have no problems with SG.
But we'll see. I'm giving the new stuff a chance and trying not to be too judgmental till I actually play it.

I haven't heard a lot of complaints about it so far.

AMS, Try to find a nice LP Classic Custom. They may be less costly. I heard they were exceptional pieces. I almost had designs on one of the Natural finish ones.

No no no no... Smitty's LP needs to be bought by AMS, and kept within the TTR family... :flash:

That’s a very kind sentiment!

But, I don’t want AMS, nor anyone else, to feel either rushed or obligated to buy it.

As long as AMS shows serious interest I won’t sell it out from underneath of him. Also, he is totally free to decide not to buy, after all.

Yeah... you would think that I'm some kind of ambassador of War & Peace... or something like that...

I can't afford a custom. It's in the 4-6 K range. I don't have 6 grand to spend.
Although it does have a very nice feel to it.
I don't need an axe like that for testing amps, somebody's going to steal it.

Well, this guitar certainly could handle amp-testing duties!

Plus, it is a very capable gigging instrument, should the need ever arise.
