Where's Chilli

Now at 3:34 am Eastern time, I am still awake in the recliner next to my dad's bed as it seems every hour he needs me to get him up to pee in his urinal. Sure hope one day he gets enough gumption to bust ass exercising to maximize his chances of walking again and returning to a semblance of self sufficiency. Otherwise, his activity and finances will dwindle together till he is no more.

Woohoo, Thanks to my sister's friend Tim, I finally got my 3rd nearly full night's sleep in my bed since dad was discharged 3/5.
Dad's recliner is not hateful to sleep in, but the rough part is once I get dad up to toilet, cleaned up, and tucked back into his bed, I usually get about 2-5 minutes in the chair before he wails and complains he is cold or his blankets are all tangled around him, and he needs them fixed. If I do get past this dire need, I may get another hour attempted sleep, before his next outcry of feeling like he is falling out of bed, tangled, has to pee again, needs tylenol or advil etc etc, until this I fill his need. Then it is wash, rinse, repeat, again and again until it is finally wake up time. By this time, I am exhausted of course.

I hate to sound whiny or complaining, but to top all this off, I sadly have my mom in Delaware who is suffering from dementia. And if these 2 scenarios aren't enough, I get the mail a week or so ago and the zoning office sent me a letter requiring me to contact them regarding my 1 acre property. The letter says my unregistered cars and trucks are a violation. Upon calling, I am informed that for a property my size I am allowed one unregistered vehicle that is not housed within a garage. Turns out some jagoff who does not even reside in my neighborhood, has complained. This now puts me under a 30 day deadline to remedy this or face further actions by the gov't. Oh and did someone say Coronavirus, Garages needing approval, inspections, permits and piles of cash to build which I currently do not have, etc? I sure wish there was a way to tag all my vehicles cheaply and yet not have to pay for insurance while they sit in the ready to swap into rotation when any of my current daily driver's experience a long term malfunction.

Hope things get easier for you Chili, and my prayers to you, and your folks.
Do the county or state agencies offer any visiting nurse services or other help?
Even a little would reduce your burden some.

Take care of YOUR health too; I know your plate is full but you cant help anyone if you get run down and then get real sick or get the Chirona virus.

Can you get a couple of those cheap fabric type car ports?
Will that satisfy them until you can come up with a more permanent solution?
