Where's Chilli

Thanks Chill, that guitar I bought in 72' for $300! Those were good years back then … Ley us know when your in Daytona as it's about an hour and ten minutes north of me.
Nowadays they would want us to add a 4 before the $300 in order to obtain a nice ES like that one.

Allthough I did score a nice ES135 for a few more sheckels but not an ungodly sum.

I know as I've been looking on line but 9x out of 10 online is not the place to find a real good deal. Especially since everybody looks online and see's pie in the sky prices and assumes that's the price they actually sell for. Any dealer used online as free advertising of their store. I told my son that I hate to be starting all over again as a player!

I know exactly what your going through Mark right down to the heartbeat and what was going thru you head at each stage, from the plumbing, electric, setting the tub and those freekin long tiles are harder to set than the smaller ones! Hope you buttered up the backs? View attachment 38368
If I were the home owner I would of asked you two things …. How much lower $ can you go before the quality of the work is affected? , and I'd want those floor and wall tiles at a 45 degree angle! View attachment 38369
Did anyone learn anything from the photo's folks? Do the back wall first since it hides the wall angles best! How are the finger splits treating ya? The friends from all the bands past still remind me and laugh about how I had to crazy glue my finger{s} splits together before I played a gig ... always in the winter ... cause when that E, B or G string goes into a finger split you actually see stars and pain like one never has before. The nerves of the fingers run down both sides of ya fingers and almost meet at the tip! Keep up the good work, Carry on …. View attachment 38370

Hank, a week later and almost done the tile installation all except for the tiles above the window, chair rail type trim moldings and grout. When it comes to getting it right, getting LARGE fragile tiles moved around in tight space of a 5x5 floor space, and not chipping any glazing on this porcelain is like walking on eggs. Anyway, here is progress so far.

Voxy, I went back up to my buddy's house to put the new brushed nickel heat duct cover on since it got delivered today. Arrived about 6 pm and the painter had a wee bit of painting to finish before I could get in the bathroom. Great result, the wife picked a nice light gray to go with the veins in the tile.
