I think a build of that quality is a very impressive accomplishment. I am astounded to know we have around 10 of you talented fellows around here!!

It's hard to pick a favorite. It's like trying to pick which of your children is your favorite.
I think for guitars, it's these two through just about any amp:
As for amps, I love this one for my live rig:
But for sitting at home and practicing/noodling, I swear that in all my years I have never found a better small practice amp than my little Mustang I v2.
I know it said just one amp and one guitar, but I can't narrow it down any more than this. Obviously The big 50 watt tube amp with a 2x12 cab the size of a refrigerator would not be very practical sitting on my bed in my apartment at all hours of the night, and my little 20 watt mustang with a single 8" speaker would not be very practical with the band, competing with drums and bass.
So either of these two guitars with these two amps is what I choose.

That's one of my favourite sounds - a light(ish) OD with plenty of grit. Sounds great. Excellent playing.
I no longer own any real Gibson's. They were terrible guitars. I have a couple of Les Paul knock offs that I use.
