What's Your Favourite Guitar/Amp Combo?

Sounds good to me desert or rainforest :)

Bandleader says, "Ok, let's sound check our overdrive volumes..."

(I burn off a descending a-minor pentatonic run into one of my 'G-sus4's)

Bandleader says, "Ok, let's sound check our clean volume levels..."

(I play the same thing, Sounds exactly the f**king same)

Bandleader says, "That's your clean tone."

I reply, "I only have one tone..." :-)

My Olympic White 70's reissue Strat through my first amp build (JTM45 - on top).
Very nice!!!

It's hard to pick a favorite. It's like trying to pick which of your children is your favorite.

I think for guitars, it's these two through just about any amp:

As for amps, I love this one for my live rig:

But for sitting at home and practicing/noodling, I swear that in all my years I have never found a better small practice amp than my little Mustang I v2.

I know it said just one amp and one guitar, but I can't narrow it down any more than this. Obviously The big 50 watt tube amp with a 2x12 cab the size of a refrigerator would not be very practical sitting on my bed in my apartment at all hours of the night, and my little 20 watt mustang with a single 8" speaker would not be very practical with the band, competing with drums and bass.

So either of these two guitars with these two amps is what I choose.
