What's Your Favorite Practice Amps

[Session 5]

I have 2 amps that are my favorite, i use these at my spring and summer place. I have had my Blackstar Fly 3 for years now, hard to believe 3 watts of sweetness can come from this 3' speaker in a little package. Its used daily there.

The Vox Rhythm 5 and Blackstar Debut15E , will be replaced by my newly found Blackstar 10v ID Core, this amp is powerful, i will no longer have to use pedals as it is a modelling Stereo amp, has many features, great tones, and will be able to do some gigs at the park with it.

Both these Blackstar amps fit the bill for what i need.

To be fair, the JVM410 and 4x12, although easy to tame volume, is not my go to and is behind a bunch of smaller amps. I wouldn't call it my practice amp.
In terms of home use, I generally practice by working on songs unamplified.
Practice with band? Small easy to carry.
JMD501, Mesa Mk V 35 and Katana.

I was kidding in my post earlier, hope you all got that. I know what the OP meant, but it just so happens that I attenuate my amps down to TV volume most of the time so whatever I'm playing fits the qualifications as far as I'm concerned. I wish I could find a small low watt grab and go "practice amp" that sounds good, but so far I haven't found it.

I try to keep it under 115dB @~3meters. That’s “practice”.

I’m gonna have to convert this question to ‘what is my smallest amp.’ I actually practice with the 67 SR.

That would be the AC15. Where I can play the volume against the mast volume.

Or the no name Deluxe 57 clone.

Out in the shed I usually play on the East or the Budda. But when I'm going to be in and out for short periods of time when I will turning things on and off multiple times a day or every few hours I will use the Blues Cube. In the house I will use the Ori 20c unless I need to be quiet then I use the Katana go.
