My dad's old Gibson Marauder - from 1975 according to Gibson support, based on original pot date codes. The previous pickguard was completely gone around the input jack. It was a custom guard hand-made by someone as it was already converted to have a standard size bridge humbucker, but the placement was all over the place. So a standard guard wouldn't fit - and the original bridge pickup is basically unobtainable anyway.
So I drew up a new one in CAD for standard humbuckers and had it custom made. Pickups are cheap but IMO serviceable Fleor PAF clones. Pots are 500k Bourns with a 22nF cap. It's also fully shielded. Took quite a lot of copper tape as the cavity is huge.
I'm lefty so it's not much use to myself, but nice to have something that right-handed visitors can play. Doesn't seem half bad to me.
