What's going on

Made pizza and salad for the kids...Going out to clean the pool again after another day of live oak shedding its pollen like rain.
It's a 2x day cleanup throughout March and early April here in SA.

Not my photo, but you can get an idea of its wrath.

Nice day to hang a bell. Got the wife a 85 pound solid bronze CA mission bell for Xmas. Had this 1/2” steel mounting bracket made, then gave it the aged bronze finish. Got working on hanging the mount using 4 6” x 1/2” lag bolts. Drilled pilot holes and used a 1/2” breaker bar to screw them in. Was torquing in the last lag bolt with about 1/4” to go and it snapped off. Damn, about an inch into the 6x12 beam. Sh#t. Gotta think of a plan B next weekend....

uhm.................where you get that chicken man???? that a yard bird or a store bird???

No, Leghorn seems to be keeping his distance from us at the moment - hopefully he stays away. Someone is going to end up loosing that chicken. In Polk county FL the law says if the chicken is in your yard it's your chicken and you can do what ever you want with it - including killing it, eating it, caging it and giving it to Ferengi's, or what ever you'd like. It's a shame really - this is a big ole white rooster and that joker is fast - but it's either been dropped off or not being taken care of by an irresponsible owner, etc. No one around here seems to know who owns it or they aren't willing to confess it's their insane rooster.
