My number one guitar is Godin Progression Strat. Its my latest guitar made in 2017. The more I play it the more I like it.
Why does EBay have a choice to give bad feedback if they won't let you? I bought by my standard costly pickups. The threads were messed up and the adjustment screen were a nope. I tapped it out and installed them. Brothers and zero sisters, I have maybe two hours at night to work or play my guitars and fix stuff. I even stopped taking in wash because I don't sort or presoak. Forget about it.the more wine the better the sound![]()
Yes, it is never a smooth ride when doing mods. I have been spending more time fixing than playing, but that will change tomorrow now that I finished my ES335-type projectView attachment 10696 View attachment 10697

Nothing goes as planned. I'm only mad at the world and want to leave a scar. I put a My Les Paul sticker over the cheap wine label. None of my cars have bumpers ever since baby butt drives.
You put right Ray! What is called new seems like it has been busy in another life. This so called American made stuff with a taste of msg and a fortune cookie. My playing is going to the dogs and I am spending more time at Industrial Tool. I hear nice work and not nice playing.Yes, it is never a smooth ride when doing mods. Nice guitars you have there. If I'm just going to sit down in my own private time and play around with something, I usually choose this:

If I'm preparing to play an event, I usually pick the guitar I want to use for a particular song and use only that guitar when I practice the song.
If a song is of a general humbucker-ish nature and I can't make up my mind, I'll usually default to this for the upper fret access and pleasing Maestro action. Plus, the sound from the '57 Classics covers a lot of territory.

But, I may use one of my others, depending on my mood.
If upper fret access is less of a concern, and I want a bit more growl (due to it's different pickups), I am increasingly likely to choose this, now that it's vibrato-fied.

However, lately, the HB-30 has been getting more attention. It hangs very comfortably on me and all the controls are positioned in a very instinctive location for me. The Seymour Duncan '59s are also very versatile.
Honestly, it's very possible that once I Bigsby-fy this one that it could end up being the go-to guitar.

If a song suggests single-coils, then, obviously, I use this:
