What is Wrong with Me???

Under serious consideration:

PRS 408
PRS 509
EBMM Valentine (a tele with no hum)
EBMM Y2D (makes all the pickup combos I want with one 5 way switch)

Music Zoo has the 2 EBMMs in stock.
The 2 PRSs will be tough to find though.
Those guys down the basement in Plainview
are PRS dealers. I'll give them a call.

I can only play one at a time
Yeah, I've heard this comment before. I have a friend with a wife, and one day a long time ago, the discussion turned to my wall of guitars. My friends wife, snidely says: "But you can only play one at a time!"
Me: "So... Let's talk about all your shoes!"
... SILENCE... :steping:

408 over the 509. The old 513 model, which was the same thing with more switching options, was of very limited popularity, although I have never played one. The408 pickups are GLORIOUS, but the "no noise reduction when split" option also means that the split sound is very subtle. To be honest, you should hunt down some NF3 equipped PRS. The 408s are close to the NF3s, but I prefer the latter. Man, you need to come over!

Yes, see what they have in stock. If you go, please mention the forum.

Add these models to THE TOP of your list

NF3
Paul Reed Smith(PRS) NF3 / SMOKED AMBER / RW FB w/Hard case/569 | eBay

PRS Studio (which has 2 NF3 pickups)
PRS Studio Amazing 10 Top | eBay

I own a studio. Both of the above links are reasonable priced. Both are out of production (which means nothing - if you know Mr. Smith, you know he switches models like socks, even if they are popular!)

I should add the the NF3 has one of the best necks of "satin finish" I have ever laid hands on - ever. It is treated with the V12 finish. Eve of the PRS I own, nothing comes close. My Tom Anderson Drop Top comes closer, but not close enough.
The Studio has a V12 finished gloss neck

Not without playing one first.
Nobody has one in stock to try...
:(

...except you.
:)
Damn, I am sorry. I wish I couldnhave had you here before this sale weekend, but I have not had time to breath. At least these used options will not change in price

Okay Been there done that over 20 went down to 6-7 you keep saying 10 and keeping 15 16 17 so
ITS time Pick the 5 you like best and start selling all the rest. You will probably keep 6 and one accoustic
make 7-8 guitars thats a fair number cmon man you and I both know we don't have time to keep more than that in playing rotataion.
But 10 is better than 5, isn't it?

That all depends when you could sell the other 5
get This
and this
and even go out and buy a Buffalo and maybe still have some cash in the pocket
Sell and give your wife the Buff she will love ya.
All nice, especially # 3, but....I WANT IT ALL!!!!!!!!

How far under?

Maybe 18 or more...I lost count. I think it's good to have about 6 to 8 guitars that are real players. Most of my other guitats are projects and I'm giving or selling away. I don't have a lot of room to store that many guitars. I know people on other forums that have a shitload fulll of guitats...I'm talking maybe about 100 from one guy on another forum...he has a warehouse full of them. It's OSD as far as I'm concerned. I'm content with under 10 guitars or even fewer. I guess I'm an OCD guitar collector. I sure love my Gibson SG Special with the ebony fretboard. That is my keeper for sure.
