What Happened to Me???

I was a Fender Fanatic and loved my Strats so much I had up to 12 at one time.

Only had one Les Paul that was even close to great and my $$$$ Gibson Custom
Shop 58' was a huge disappointment.

Then along comes this 2013 Traditional and I can't play anything else! I tried playing
my Black Hole Strat yesterday and it just didn't feel that good in my hands anymore.
Even though it's a 24.75 scale conversion it just won't hold up to my Les Paul...

Good news is I won't be shopping for guitars any longer!

I always liked Gibson.
No wonder you wanna play it.

For better than 2 1/2 decades I played Strat style guitars (Ibanez) or SSS strats exclusively. However, since getting my baseball bat necked LP traditional (& my Heritage 80 Standard LP), that all changed & I now prefer a good Lester over, well, pretty well everything. So I totally get it too Sp8ctre.
Plus, that big meaty slab of Les Paul tone is just so addictive. Cheers

In the last 5 years of coming across your various posts on your gear, I've easily notice how your tastes and your inventory has changed. We are all wired differently from each other, and thank God that there's always something for everyone of us. Not only am I really glad you're enjoying your '13 LP Traditional, I'm glad you're enjoying playing a guitar, period....

It's funny how this Les Paul just does something for me. It's the closest I've had to a perfect guitar. Maybe it's the first guitar I've owned
with a proper set up? Maybe it's just the "One" for me, but it checks off all my blocks! I love it and it will not be sold like my last 2013
was. I still regret losing that one. These 2013's must have been a good run...

Les Pauls are great guitars. I love mine. The guys in the current line up of my band prefer the V, SG, or Billy-Bo as they think it is more of a "John" guitar, and suits my playing style.

The guys in my old band, liked the Les Pauls and SGs, but not my others. Everyone has their tastes. I still play mine when I can.

Awakening Stick days. We have been talking about re-releasing the disc and maybe doing some shows. Covid ruined that.

I must have got the last copy. CD Universe shows it backordered now.

I think that I only have about ten copies left. Dan may have a few, but I'm not sure. Out of 1000 discs pressed, I can only recount maybe 50 being sold at gigs. Some went to college and local commercial radio. I know he sent some off to distributors, but I never saw any cash. I still have the master tapes here in my cellar. I think the original "Mastered" version of the cd on the press discs are upstairs.
