If I seriously won or even earned enough money to never have to worry about surviving one day or one week in advance before impending financial doom, I'd first get myself some health and dental insurance. I'd do likewise for my mom, dad, sis and her 2 kids to whatever point is needed for them to live as healthy a life as possible and never worry about affording to get medically treated any time they need it.

As for me, if I could buy a new pain free back, I would also go for that as my number 1 reality type purchase I cannot afford at the present time. To have a back that is pain free and able to stay strong enough to do all the physical work the rest of my life will require would be a priceless purchase if true 0 Pain is possible.

That might be literally true. But it might be hard to get hospitals and docs to take piles of $20 in payment. Insurance just seems to be how the system works.

Since this was supposed to be about gear, I'd buy a 59 Reissue ES 335 to play while staying in all of the scenic Villas of Tuscany.
