What Fuzz you have so far?

buwahahha a

Right on bro! I got a mint BM a number of years ago used for about $25 to $30 bucks around there. These are a cool clone of the TS. I wish I picked up a Blues Screamer when I had the chance. I went with a TS-9 used instead that day. The kid at GC who handed me the pedals to demo, wound up buying the BS for his dad. I wish I would have got it. It was mint and sounded pretty nice. I did pick up a Hot Head from that same digitech series and the Death Metal. The HH is a clone of the DS-1. They did a really good clone with this one. I'm a fan of both DOD and Digitech stuff. Sorry about the over chatty post of mine here but, I got some really bad news today and this is helping me through it.

I have no fuzz to share.....

Somewhere, I have a G1Xon that I bought for student's to fool about with...and a very, very old Arion Metal Master that I haven't seen in years....but I have never used it.

I used to have a Boss Metal Zone pedal when they first came out,was spendy for the day but was a great sounding pedal.

I just ordered a RangeMaster clone with an oc44 transistor. :hmmm:

And a Fractal AX8, which is supposed to have great models of the old classic pedals, on which I plan to rely heavily. Will know more Tuesday/Wednesday. :ohno:

I am loving the RangeMaster clone. It is a single knob pedal, battery only, and it is great for old school boosted tones.

What's going on Brother Cat?

Maybe some of us here can offer you some support.... :H5:

Everything is cool. My best friend passed going on ten years and his widow passed two days ago. My ex - girlie is taking it pretty hard. We both feel bad because we were going to call her this last weekend. I spoke with her about a month ago or so. Towards the evening yesterday it hit me the hardest. I've been fine today. It is a part of life. I took her death even harder than Mikes'. I was pretty busy back then. Right now I got more time on my hands and you think about it more. They have a 15 year old daughter which is going to be raised by her sister and her husband. All of their kids are now out of the house from what I understand. My friends' daughter is a great kid, super smart straight A student, etc. It just sucks that her parents are now both gone. Both of my friends' widows parents are still alive also. She was the youngest of all her sisters and brother.

I am so sorry for your loss and the difficulty of the family. While death may be a part of life, it sure does make it harder to live seeing your loved ones go. Time will heal my friend, this too shall pass.

I am here, we are here, if you need anything.

A rangemaster is by far the effect I use most. Great effect, love what it does to an already overdriving tube amp. I have 3 of them, each with a different transistor type (OC44, OC71, OC75) which gives each one a unique voice. The OC44 is my favorite. Cheers

I have no fuzz......had a MUff....and Bass MUff......way back when ---- as I recall I didnt care for them much I think my ZOOMB1 bass pedal has a fuzz feature.....setting what have you...never use it (all I use are the drum rhythms) --- when it comes to bass I am a purest--- deep rich clean earth crumbling BOOM --- you dont so much hear my bass plying you FEEL it like a throat punch from a wrecking ball lol

I absolutely love it. Does everything from nwobhm to 60's garage. Should have got one years ago. This one was made by a forum friend, so that makes it even more cool.

Give me a Deluxe Reverb or maybe a 1482 (the AX8 is more than worthy) and ALL of those and call me done. Googly moogly.

Sola mk11 with OC81D, sweet. I have a clone I built but the OC75 variant, only because OC81D's are rarer than rocking horse shite. The old black glass OC75's sound good in this circuit, but not as good as the OC81D's. Cheers
