I have the following that pop to mind:

Boss FZ-2
Big Muff Pi V9
Way Huge Havalina Fuzz
Moen Fuzz Moo
Analogman Peppermint Fuzz
MXR Germanium Mini Fuzz Face FFM2
MXR Jimi Hendrix Mini Fuzz Face FFM3

Next week I get to pick up a mint used early DOD Flashback Fuzz.

2 Degitech Bad Monkies
Ive weeded out the ones i dont like and kept my favorites

I used my T-Rex Mudhoney II with the crunch channel of my Peavey 6534+ last night and it sounded bad-ass

I used to have a Way Huge Swollen Pickle but I didn't like it so I traded it for a Boss RV-5 reverb

I only have one fuzz left - actually, other than the tuner, it's my only pedal.

If I were to get more fuzz, then the Mudhoney II, Fulltone 69 and Analogman SunLion would be on my list!

I have the cheapy Behringer Super Fuzz. It is okay for single note runs and lower octave power chords but is a muddy mess for even double stops any where else.
ok for what it is ok for, but horrible for anything else.
Has a good clean boost too.

I have an Arbiter Fuzz Face build on deck for almost a year now.
Other builds, (currently an 18w from Ubuyguitars / VHT mostly sourced parts underway) keep pushing it back.

Dunlop Germanium Mini Fuzz Face

Probably the most temperamental pedal I've ever had. It does what it wants to do, it's almost impossible to predict how it's gonna behave when the gig starts. Even temperature changes its mood.

Since 1992-ish

I just ordered a RangeMaster clone with an oc44 transistor. :hmmm:

And a Fractal AX8, which is supposed to have great models of the old classic pedals, on which I plan to rely heavily. Will know more Tuesday/Wednesday. :ohno:

Recently, I have been getting more into running amp volume and gain low and running the fuzzes with everything on 10; volume, fuzz, everything. This gives the most authentic experience/best tone, imho. Unity gain/volume is for sissies. P:lol:

I use am OD808 set as a clean boost for a push "over the cliff."

I have the Empress Fuzz as part of their Mutidrive. i have tried others. I am yet to dial in a fuzz tone that I like. What am I doing wrong?

^ I had a Keely Son of Fuzzhead which was good.

The Empress is good, imho. But, fuzzes are a strange beast indeed and often play strange with other pedals - for example the EH Double Big Muff Nano I had was great on its own, but a pain in the arse on a board.

But, there is one fuzz pedal which is like no other, is easy to dial tones in, and you will love. It is the best fuzz pedal out there for folks that like fuzz, but find it difficult to get consistently good sounds: The Wampler Velvet Fuzz.
