What Do You Think About ARS and Living in Woodland Hills? (Wav?)

I moved out of the L.A. area 34 years ago and never looked back. Ever since then, I've been living in Groovy Beach which is 15 minutes south of beautiful San Luis Obispo. If someone suggested to me to move to Woodland Hills, I would do one of these...:

I lived in Miami. Really didn't dig the humidity and hurricane evacuations, but stayed for the money.

I lived in Hesperia for a while, but i really love the desert, so that was a win for me.

My favorite place was up in the mountains between Crestline and Lake Arrowhead, but my wife hates snow, so we moved to the base of the hill.

Got friends in beach cities. When we visit, they like to go walking around downtown. Its cool, just not my thing. I'm too much of an introvert i guess...

I used to live in Grover before I migrated here. Given Grover is a mellow spot with cool ocean breezes.
I used to crank Marshalls in the garage until the Police showed up.
First of all: The Police in Grover don't show up for just cranked Marshall's. They'll show up if you're playing Stairway To Heaven too many times!

But more importantly: Where the F is my beer you're supposed to buy me??

Finns / Shark Bar?
Or where?
I like the food at Finns.

Remember, COVID originated at Mongo's. I'm not going there. Besides the food is cold, and I hate that.

Finns is cool. Lots of built-in outdoor dining accommodations already. You don't have to eat or drink over gas, oil, and antifreeze soaked parking lots. My favorite place is the The Boardroom (Pismo)... Scenery can be a bit more interesting. My favorite place in San Luis Obispo is the Black Sheep.

The Ebola also originated there too. Mongo's is also called The Three Fat Guys. People have mysteriously disappeared after going in there!

The police are actually pretty tolerant here, but it is after all the town that gave the world Black Flag, Pennywise, Circle Jerks and the Descendents.

I'm in on the beer too by the way.

Boardroom on Saturday? Or name the alternative.
What time?
What I like is some good eats to go w/ the beer.

It's a long drive from Hermosa....

No doubt. I would never go that far, although I know a few people that do. I used to work in downtown LA, and the commute from the South Bay was an hour on a good day and a buck-and-a-half on a bad one. That was my limit then and that was like 15 years ago, so not only is the drive probably worse now but my limit has been reduced.

From Woodland Hills you can commute to some pretty cool places that are probably no more than 30-40 minutes though.
