IMG_0791.JPG I have a bad situation in my play pen. I have the wrong Lightning, a cordless phone plugged in and some pedals the complain about the juice I feed them. I was looking at a Furman.
Lead me to less noise gentlemen. These work?

I don't have nearly the jungle you do, but the Furman was the only thing I found to get the hum from the bad power in my office and the flourescent light noise out of my VOX.

If, in fact, your AC power has noisy transients and spikes, a power conditioner can be useful at smoothing and filtering those noise components.

I use this one pretty regularly:

However, these are only effective if the source of your noise truly is coming from noisy (also called "dirty") AC power. They will not stop other sorts of noise which occur after the AC outlet. If the noise is being generated by your pedal board, or if your guitar pickups are picking up interference through the air, those noises will still be passed on.

Thank you gentlemen, I was heading in the right direction. Thanks to you again RVA that pedal is new to me. I'll follow all the information you sent and this other stuff I hear pills take care of most.

I'm going to make smaller pedal boards. I only take a few pedals to gig or say work, I try to have a consistent tone. I use all different pedals to record. To mess around I test knew pedals and old forgotten pedals. Live and learn is a big part of out daily walk. Keep open eyes so you don't trip over you oun feet. Fortune cookie advice.

They make them from a price, like ok I can live with $100 or so to oh shoot I'll live with the damn noise. I bought one on EBay and it is second hand and it works the guy says. I did not even look at the model number. I always wonder why the person is selling it? I try to think he needs the money to get his dog an operation. Not that he really messed up and got the wrong one and is now laughing at me for making the same goof! I hope his dog get well soon and that the bastard even has a dog. I trust dog people.

We have grounds people and security guys. This life a small town in the city of Pittsburgh. A historic landmark. We can't have a dog but a max of three cats. I love to just stand in the sprinklers at my old house. Lina and I lived hear for 18 year. I worked for Doctors Without Boarders and on one trips to China I started to get people out that would have been done away with. I bought one home to keep. Tia is amazing and is now a USA citizen, she was 19 and I home schooled her, brilliant.

When I'm in Pittsburgh, I love to shout, "Hey, What's younz doin?!?!"
Do you get to Pittsburgh very often? I know the silly hunky way they speak! It's a Burgh thing. Give me a heads up and grab a beer. The chics are tuff to look at, I fish for mine on other planets.

LOL! P:lol: Thanks, Kevin. I will the next time I'm there. I have a few relatives that have lived there their entire lives. "Gimme a chip-chop ham sammitch, a glass of imp 'n arn, and a klondike."
Translation: I want a thinly sliced ham sandwich, a glass of Imperial and Iron City beer, and an ice cream sandwich.

Here are some more Pittburghese goodies:
  • Yunz (You all - plural)
  • Pop (soda or Coke)
  • Dahntahn (Downtown)
  • Stillers (Pittsburgh Steelers)
  • Worsh (wash)
  • Gumbans (rubber bands)
  • Jynt Igl (Giant Eagle)
  • Spicket (faucet)
I could remember more if I meditate.
