Sorry for your friend. I’ve been getting the itch to ride again, but it’s a crazy world now. I almost lost another friend a few weeks back…rear ended on his full dresser…a well lit one at that. Like he wasn’t even there.

Sorry to hear about your friend. I still hold my license , but i quit years ago after having close calls, and a couple of my buddies getting hit. Thought i would miss it, but i don't now. 15 years ago a guy i helped get his 1100 venture shaft drive going , told me to take it for a ride, i declined but he insisted. I took it for about 3 mile ride took it back, had no desire to get back on.

Same here. Got the bike license at age 16. Owned a couple of bikes while living in Maryland. Never rode on the street again after I moved to So CA in 1976. Had a dirt bike though.

I was switching between these 2 today. I've got a really strong feeling these are about to be my only 2 guitars, I've spent way too much on gear the last few years and it's time I need to get some of it back. Look @Thatbastarddon , no more T-nut shining through the grill cloth.

Yesterday I played the new-to-me 100th Anniversary LP Studio (2015) at the side band (performance art/weirdmusik/experimental) practice. Will also play same tonight with the main band, just want to get used to it before our big pre-Halloween party set next weekend. I gigged it a few weeks back with the other side band (female-fronted covers) as part of the prep, haha.
