1977 Fender Strat. Antique White.

Sold it when I joined the Army.

Mine was a Tokai Springy Sound, new in 1980, stolen in 1995

. The CSL was a present from my then girlfriend at Christmas 1982. I still have both girl and guitar, we've been married 40 years now.

I got my 2013 Tribute put back together today and temporarily hooked up just a bridge pickup and a volume pot. I wanted to see if I even still like playing it before I decide what to do with it and I do, I like it a lot. It works, the curse is broken, lol!

As I've been getting used to the DryBell Unit 67 compressor, I thought I would try a different amp tonight. I had been using the Tweed Princeton that I built and my DST Engineering U84TNT to see how it works. Since I normally play with EL34 powered amps when we jam or play out, I thought that plugging into the Fawn 50 watt '78 JMP would be a good idea. Deciding factor was because I haven't plugged into it in ages. Once I got rolling, it almost seemed as I could get better sounds out of the ES-335 and JMP without the compressor than actually having it engaged. I need to follow this further and try testing the Matamp and Express next. So, I'm actually playing the amp tonight, not the guitar. Or, maybe the pedal and amp... No matter what, this amp sounds fantastic!

Watching Jason Bonham's latest show on u tube I liked the snare drum sound he was getting he was using a Ludwig Black Beauty 6.5 x14

My friend Joe that plays drums when recording liked the DW Collectors snare drum I have I never liked it
broke out my Ludwig Black Beauty the recordings were a 1000% improvement same snare drum Jason is using
