Was in a guitar store that had a Hagstrom Swede.... Maybe Super Swede, don't remember. Heaviest guitar I've ever picked up. Did ultimately buy a Hagstrom Viking.
Old Hagstrom from Sweden are usually on the heavy side, mine here is a 1975 and is 8.6 lbs .Was in a guitar store that had a Hagstrom Swede.... Maybe Super Swede, don't remember. Heaviest guitar I've ever picked up. Did ultimately buy a Hagstrom Viking.
Been long enough ago I don't remember if it was a used Swedish built or a new Chinese built. Just remember that sucker was heavy.Old Hagstrom from Sweden are usually on the heavy side, mine here is a 1975 and is 8.6 lbs .

Gibson Les Paul '54 reissueI need a P90 Gold Top sooooo bad! I've probably already asked you, but I forgot...is that a 70s Deluxe?
Me too. I keep looking at R4s and R7s on Reverb. And ES-345s… I have no business buying another guitar. I don’t get to play mine often enough. I should really think about selling a few.I need a P90 Gold Top sooooo bad! I've probably already asked you, but I forgot...is that a 70s Deluxe?

Sorry for your friend. I’ve been getting the itch to ride again, but it’s a crazy world now. I almost lost another friend a few weeks back…rear ended on his full dresser…a well lit one at that. Like he wasn’t even there.Found out last night that Dan C., my friend and former Awakening Stick bass player was killed in a motorcycle accident Sunday. Decided to dig the “Awakening Stick SG” out of its case for the first time in ages. It could use new strings and a good cleaning, but still sounds fantastic. ‘69 was a good year. This guitar has seen a wild lifestyle for many years. Feel guilty about retiring it, but the fingerboard is really chewed up.

Thanks Don. He was riding a Vulcan 750 or so. It was a multiple vehicle accident on 128/93 in Randolph. There’s an ongoing State Police investigation with pending criminal charges. Even though they completed the autopsy, they’ve not released his body to his family. He was on his way home from his aunt’s 85th birthday party, so I can’t imagine it was his fault in any way. I feel really bad for his family who are trying to pick up the pieces.Sorry for your friend. I’ve been getting the itch to ride again, but it’s a crazy world now.
