What are you playing today

Not going to be much melting for at least the 10 day here. Only one day above freezing. Several nights of single digits (F) for lows. Oh well. It is December tomorrow and it’s to be expected in this part of the world.

You're absolutely right, my Swedes, Chinese or Sweden made are all over 9 lbs.
The Viking was the heaviest guitar I owned for awhile. It and my bass weigh the same.... both about 6 1/2lbs...... Ibanez bass, for a bass it's pretty light. Then I bought the Strat with the Ash body. New winner at over 7lbs. But got nuthin' even close to 9. In fact it takes my Ovation and G400 combined to make 9lbs.

I had a Honda exactly like that back in Indiana. The day I sold it to my first call cellist, in prep for moving to CA, was one of the happiest days of my life.
Obviously because you didn’t need it anymore for blowing snow. But they’re darn reliable. Sits for 6-9 months. Starts 1st or 2nd pull every winter. Got a Honda push mower. Same story. Totally reliable as long as you don’t nail a stump and bend the crank.

Oh, I know, it was a great machine. I wouldn’t have sold it to a friend if it wasn’t. But we moved to a snow-free house with no grass lawn, so my days of pushing an internal combustion engine around the yard are done.
