Twas in an electrician mood past few days. Fixed wiring in a three way switch where I'd wired wrong when I replaced one switch with a dimmer. Then replaced some closet lights and a couple in the laundry room.
So these are the lights I took down.... Mrs. IbLive refereed to them as B@@B lights that were cool in the 90s, but not in 2026. I'll let you figure out why she calls them that. So down came 5 of these and were replaced by LED units. Holy cow are they bright. Need sunglasses when ya turn these on.

Then the switch. That was easy. Just had a couple wires switched on the new dimmer switch. Switched them and 3-way worked as advertised. Real fun came when I got bit poking wires back into the box. Understand, I'd flipped breakers and killed the lights and switches. There shouldn't have been any juice in the box. Even better. Found a loose wire and as I was attempting to get it back where it belonged.... I got sparks and the coffee pot on the other side of the room was turning on and off. For some dumb reason, the outlets on the opposite side of the room were routed thru the light switch. Finally found the breaker for the outlets and got things fixed and all back together. But what should have been a simple several minute task tuned into a real cluster..... you know.
Insides of the box. It's really busy in there. Purple wires were the ones to the other side of the room.
