I like watching the Bobsleds, Luge, Figure Skating (even if they don’t do actual figures anymore), and Biathlon. Any sport that was derived from the Finnish snipers shooting Nazis and the red army is ok with me.

I agree. Those were among my favorites to watch years ago. I miss Eddie The Eagle.

Ski jumpers are nuts. When I was in Pfronten, Germany for training in the fall of 2022, my wife and I spent a long holiday weekend in Innsbruck, Austria because it was nearby. She went to the top of the ski jumping tower. I refused to. This is the view when you start going down the ramp. That tiny bit of green is the landing area.

This photo was taken in November. It was 60 degrees Fahrenheit during the daytime. There should have been a minimum of a meter of snow on the ground, and more at higher elevations. That was the winter that many glaciers in the Alps and Dolomites collapsed and caused major avalanches.
