Pushing my new surgery a little too far I fear.sat a tank for a couple hours hoping for a buck to show. I kept hearing what I'm pretty sure was a mountain lion roaring (in heat calls) so I left and took up coyote calling for a while.

Peroxide mixed with sodium bicarbonate works well on dogs, I have used diluted bleach too, watch out for the eyes, rinse wellI've been told a tomato soup rub down helps when one gets skunked.

Got sourdough crackers going in the oven as we type. Open a sparking wine. Charcuterie goodies. Fire in the fireplace. Be snoozing before 8.Enjoying a snow day. As soon as the oven is up to temp, the bread goes in. Then I‘ll start working on a beef stew. Hoping to actually play a guitar in a little while.
Somewhere back in the 80s, one of our mechanics was off to service school. We all got the brainiac idea to pull the engine in his 70 something Chevy pickup. Mean.... but lets just say he'd have deserved it. If you recall, back then two guys could sit inside the engine compartment while another could be underneath. We figured 3 or 4 of us could have it on the floor in not much over an hour.... and not tear up or destroy anything. We didn't do it. I think the biggest reason was.... Summer in Illinois. 95 in the shade. Would have been over 100 inside the shop. We had a beer instead.Too bad I don’t use my phone when I’m busy.
I could have got some pictures of how sketchy pulling the engine/trans out of my 75 International was today. PITA, lucky my neighbor helped me.
